Pipe Cutter Truper COT-32 for Pipes Ø 3.2–31.8 mm
Pipe Cutter Truper COT-32 for Pipes Ø 3.2–31.8 mm
Truper COT-32 pipe cutter is a compact rotary cutting tool designed to cut round pipes and tubing with diameters from 3.2 to 31.8 mm. It uses a single cutting wheel paired with an adjustable clamp to hold the workpiece, providing controlled, burr-reduced cuts in metal and plastic tubing. The tool is suitable for plumbing, HVAC, automotive brake and fuel lines, and general workshop use where precise, repeatable tube cutting is required.
The cutter delivers consistent, clean cuts thanks to its rotary cutting wheel and adjustable pressure mechanism that secures the tube during rotation. Its compact body allows access to confined spaces and facilitates one-handed routing around pipes. The design reduces the need for subsequent deburring and minimizes deformation of thin-walled tubing. Lightweight construction and straightforward operation make the tool suitable for both professional tradespeople and DIY users.
This pipe cutter is intended for round pipes and tubing within the specified diameter range; it is not designed for cutting large-diameter pipes, flat stock, or structural profiles. Very hard alloys or extremely thick-walled tubing may exceed the cutter's effective capacity and could damage the cutting wheel or produce poor results.
Position the pipe inside the cutter so the cutting wheel aligns with the desired cut location, then tighten the adjustable clamp to hold the tube. Rotate the cutter around the pipe, applying gradual pressure by incrementally tightening the clamp after each few turns until the pipe is cut through. Maintain steady rotation and avoid excessive force to prevent deformation. After cutting, inspect the edge and remove any minor burrs if necessary using a deburring tool or file.
Use steady, incremental tightening while rotating the cutter to achieve clean cuts and extend cutting wheel life. For softer plastics, reduce clamping pressure to avoid crushing; for thin-walled metal tube, support the pipe near the cut to prevent distortion. Replace the cutting wheel when cuts become ragged or require excessive force.
