Bench grinder TRYTON 150W with 125×16×12.7 mm wheel, model 5037183
Tryton bench grinder double-wheel model with a 150 W motor and 125 x 16 x 12.7 mm grinding wheels is designed for sharpening, shaping and surface finishing of metal tools and parts. The unit includes two mounted wheels—one coarse and one fine—splash guards and work rests. A rigid bench-mounted housing and dust-protected bearings provide stable operation suitable for workshop use.
The 150 W motor delivers sufficient power for light to medium workshop tasks while maintaining compact dimensions. Two grinding wheels (coarse and fine) allow fast material removal and finer finishing without changing equipment. Integrated splash guards and adjustable work rests improve operator safety and accuracy. Dust-protected bearings and a long power cord increase durability and convenience in typical bench setups.
Secure the grinder to a stable bench or stand before operation. Fit appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection. Switch on the tool and allow it to reach full speed. Use the work rest to support the tool or workpiece and move items steadily across the grinding wheel, applying light, even pressure. Start with the coarse wheel for material removal and finish on the fine wheel for a smoother edge. After use, switch off the grinder and wait for wheels to stop completely before touching or adjusting guards and rests.
Maintain the wheels by dressing them periodically to keep a flat surface and restore cutting efficiency. Keep splash guards correctly positioned and clean accumulated dust from the housing and ventilation paths. For consistent results, use the coarse wheel for shaping and the fine wheel for final sharpening. Replace wheels if cracked, excessively worn, or if vibration increases noticeably during operation.
