Tryton router model 5124371 is designed for milling holes, grooves, edges and profiles in wood and wood-like materials, as well as in plastics and aluminium. The tool features adjustable speed and precise depth control, a spindle lock and a depth stop. Ergonomically shaped handles with non-slip coating improve handling and safety. A dust extraction port allows quick connection to a vacuum for cleaner working conditions.

How to use

Fit a suitable 6 mm or 8 mm cutter into the collet and tighten with the provided wrench. Select the required speed using the variable speed control according to material and cutter diameter. Use the spindle lock to secure the cutter when changing bits. Adjust the plunge depth and fix it with the depth stop for repeatable cuts. If available, attach the parallel guide for guided edge work and connect a dust extractor to the vacuum adapter for cleaner operation.

Usage recommendations

For best results, choose cutter types and speeds appropriate to the material: lower speeds for aluminium and plastics, higher speeds for hardwoods. Always wear suitable eye and hearing protection and secure the workpiece before routing.
