Cable clip with nail for flat cables Trytyt FLOP-P12/6 pack of 100
Trytyt FLOP-P12/6 cable clips with integrated nails are designed to secure flat cables to wooden and similar substrates during installations and maintenance. Supplied as a pack of 100, each unit combines a molded plastic holder shaped for flat cable profiles and a corrosion-resistant metal nail for mechanical fixing. The clips provide a compact, low-profile solution for routing telecommunications, low-voltage and signal flat cables along walls, skirting boards and other surfaces where a discreet, fixed cable run is required.
The combined plastic holder and metal nail design simplifies installation by enabling single-step fixing without separate fasteners. The low-profile holder keeps flat cables flush to the mounting surface, reducing visible clutter and the risk of mechanical damage. Corrosion-resistant nails ensure long-term mechanical retention in wood and similar materials, while the plastic body provides electrical insulation and prevents abrasion of the cable sheath.
Place the flat cable into the molded plastic holder so the cable lies evenly in the clip profile. Position the clip over the intended routing line and drive the integrated nail into the wooden or comparable substrate using a hammer until the plastic body sits flush with the surface. Space clips at regular intervals appropriate to the cable type and installation standard to maintain secure support without compressing the cable conductor assembly.
Do not overdrive the nail; excessive force can deform the plastic holder or compress the cable. For non-wood substrates use suitable anchors or alternative fixings. Observe local electrical and cabling regulations when routing signal or low-voltage cables.
