F-bar clamp Tvardy F-type ratchet 600 x 120 mm forged (12 pcs)
Tvardy F-bar clamp T-type ratchet 600 x 120 mm is a forged F-type bar clamp designed for holding, clamping and securing workpieces during woodworking, assembly and gluing tasks. The clamp combines a forged steel head and sliding tail with a ratchet drive to allow fast, repeatable tightening and consistent clamping pressure. Supplied as a pack of 12, the set is intended for workshop and production environments where multiple clamps are required for framing, panel assembly and glued joints.
The forged construction provides high rigidity and resistance to bending under load, while the ratchet mechanism enables quick one-handed adjustment and stepwise increase of clamping force. The 600 mm bar length and 120 mm throat depth offer a balance between reach and stability for typical joinery operations. Delivered in a multiple-piece pack, the clamps are suitable for simultaneous use on larger assemblies, reducing setup time and improving workflow.
Position the fixed head against one side of the workpiece and slide the movable tail along the bar until it contacts the opposite side. Engage the ratchet drive and operate the handle to increase clamping pressure until the required holding force is achieved. To release, use the ratchet release mechanism to retract the movable tail and remove the clamp. For even pressure on glued joints, apply clamps incrementally and check alignment frequently.
Use protective pads or scrap wood between the clamp jaws and finished surfaces to prevent marring. Inspect the bar and ratchet for debris before use and avoid excessive force beyond the clamp's intended capacity. Store the clamps in a dry place to reduce corrosion and maintain smooth ratchet action.
