Screwdriver Bit Tvardy PH2 25 mm S2 — Phillips PH2, length 25 mm, S2 steel
Tvardy PH2 25 mm S2 is a Phillips PH2 screwdriver bit with a 25 mm working length manufactured from S2 tool steel. It is designed for driving and removing PH2 screws in general assembly tasks, furniture mounting, and metal fittings. The bit fits standard bit holders, hand drivers and powered screwdrivers with a compatible 1/4" hex shank, offering a compact length for use in confined spaces while providing the torsional strength of S2 steel.
The S2 tool steel construction provides improved wear resistance and higher toughness compared with standard carbon bits, helping to reduce tip deformation during repeated use. The 25 mm working length balances access and control, enabling handling in shallow recesses and narrow joints. Compatibility with common 1/4" hex holders and power drivers ensures broad usability across manual and powered applications.
Select the Tvardy PH2 25 mm S2 bit and insert its 1/4" hex shank securely into the bit holder or screwdriver chuck. Position the PH2 tip squarely in the screw recess to minimise cam-out. Apply steady axial pressure and moderate rotational speed when using powered drivers; use controlled manual torque for hand drivers. Inspect the tip for wear before critical tasks and replace the bit when the profile becomes rounded or damaged.
For longer bit life, avoid excessive torque and high-speed slipping. Match the PH2 tip exactly to the screw head size, pre-drill pilot holes in hard timbers or metal where appropriate, and store bits dry to limit corrosion.
