Drill bit set Tvardy HSS M35 for metal 10 pcs 1–10 mm cobalt
Drill bit set Tvardy HSS M35 for metal 10 pcs 1–10 mm cobalt
Tvardy HSS M35 cobalt drill bit set for metal, 10 pieces, covers sizes 1 mm through 10 mm in 1 mm steps. Each bit is manufactured from high-speed steel with 5% cobalt (M35 grade) to increase hardness and thermal stability for drilling stainless steel and other tough metals. The set is designed for workshop, maintenance and professional metalworking tasks that require a range of small-to-medium diameter holes and reliable bit life under higher cutting temperatures.
The HSS M35 composition with 5% cobalt provides improved heat resistance and wear resistance compared with standard HSS, reducing premature dulling when working with stainless steel and high-strength alloys. Precision ground flutes and a sharp tip geometry support accurate centring, steady chip evacuation and consistent hole quality. Supplied as a matched 1–10 mm set, the range eliminates the need to mix different bit series for common metal drilling tasks.
This cobalt HSS set is intended for drilling metal and is less appropriate for masonry, wood, or ceramic materials—use dedicated masonry or wood bits for those substrates. Very large-diameter holes or heavy production drilling may be better served by carbide or job-specific tooling designed for high-volume or CNC operation.
Select the required diameter from the set and secure it in a properly tightened drill chuck. Use cutting lubricant when drilling stainless steel or hard alloys to reduce heat build-up and extend tool life. Begin drilling at moderate speed with gentle feed pressure to establish the pilot, then increase feed as the hole forms while maintaining coolant or lubricant. Clear chips periodically to avoid clogging the flutes and overheating the bit.
Use appropriate cutting fluid, moderate speeds and steady feed pressure for the best life and hole quality when working with stainless steel and other high-alloy metals.
