Joint filler putty Tytan for gypsum board joints 1.8 kg white
Ready-to-use Tytan joint filler putty for gypsum board joints, supplied in a 1.8 kg white tub, is formulated for filling seams, covering tape and evening out surfaces on drywall (gypsum board). This pre-mixed gypsum-based compound offers a workable consistency for smoothing joints and minor surface defects prior to painting or wallpapering. The product is intended for interior use and simplifies finishing stages of drywall installation or repair.
The putty is ready to apply without additional mixing, providing consistent texture and easy spreadability with a taping knife or spatula. Its gypsum-based composition ensures good adhesion to gypsum board edges and joint tape while shrinking minimally during drying. The white tint helps achieve a neutral base for subsequent finishing coats and reduces the need for extensive sanding when applied correctly.
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, loose material and grease. Apply the putty directly from the tub using a taping knife or spatula, pressing the compound into the joint and spreading it evenly over the tape and adjacent board surfaces. For recessed joints or deep gaps, apply in layers allowing each layer to dry sufficiently before applying the next. After the putty dries, sand lightly to achieve a smooth finish and remove dust prior to priming and final decoration.
The product is intended for interior use only. Store the tub tightly closed at moderate temperatures and use within the period recommended by the manufacturer. For best results, follow standard drywall finishing practices: ensure adequate drying time between layers, use appropriate joint tape, and perform light sanding to obtain a uniform surface before priming and painting.
