Sector antenna Ubiquiti AMO-2G10 10 dBi 2.35-2.55 GHz
The Ubiquiti AMO-2G10 sector antenna operates in the 2.35–2.55 GHz frequency range and delivers a nominal gain of 10 dBi with dual polarization. Designed for outdoor wireless networks, the antenna provides a focused horizontal beam width of approximately 12° at 2.4 GHz and a compact form factor measuring 1030 mm × 122 mm × 84 mm. The white, 2.1 kg enclosure is intended for integration into sectorized base stations and other wireless distribution systems where directed coverage and polarization diversity are required.
The sector design concentrates RF energy into a defined azimuthal sector to improve link budget and reduce interference from outside the coverage sector. Dual polarization supports better handling of multipath and polarization mismatch. The antenna's compact dimensions and moderate weight simplify mounting and alignment on standard masts or towers. Compatibility with 2.35–2.55 GHz deployments allows use in licensed and license-exempt systems within that band where applicable.
Mount the sector antenna on a suitably rated mast or tower in a location that provides clear line-of-sight to the intended coverage area. Orient the antenna to cover the target azimuthal sector and secure all mechanical fastenings according to site standards. Connect appropriate, low-loss RF feeder cables and compatible radio equipment; follow the radio and cable manufacturer instructions for connector type and torque specifications. After installation, perform alignment and commissioning tests such as signal-strength measurements and throughput checks to verify coverage and link performance.
Use the antenna as part of a sectorized deployment with compatible radios and air-time management techniques. Ensure cable runs use weatherproofing and surge protection as required for outdoor installations. For optimal performance, avoid obstructions in the intended sector and verify that operating frequencies comply with local regulations.
