IP security camera UBIQUITI UniFi Protect G4-Bullet — wired bullet, 2688×1512, 24 fps, indoor/outdoor, aluminium housing, white
The UBIQUITI UniFi Protect G4-Bullet is a wired 4 MP (2688×1512) IP security camera that records 24 fps video over Gigabit Ethernet. Its bullet form factor with an aluminium housing in white supports both indoor and outdoor placement. The camera includes a CMOS sensor, infrared LEDs with an automatic IR cut filter for day/night surveillance, a built-in microphone and 802.3af PoE power support. The lens provides approximately 80° horizontal, 60° vertical and 111° diagonal field of view, suitable for continuous monitoring and perimeter protection.
The G4-Bullet produces clear 4 MP (1440p) footage at 24 fps and transmits video over Gigabit Ethernet for reliable wired connectivity. Its aluminium bullet housing and ball-joint mount enable flexible 3-axis adjustment and both indoor and outdoor installation. Infrared LEDs and an automatic IR cut filter provide continuous day and night surveillance, while the built-in microphone captures audio and 802.3af PoE simplifies power and network delivery over a single cable.
Mount the G4-Bullet using the ball-joint bracket to achieve the required 3-axis orientation, ensuring the camera points to the area to be monitored. Connect the camera to a Gigabit Ethernet network switch or UniFi controller using a CAT5e (or better) cable and supply power via an 802.3af PoE switch or injector. Configure recording, motion detection and retention settings through the UniFi Protect management interface and verify night-mode operation for low-light conditions.
For reliable operation, use a quality Ethernet cable (CAT5e or higher) and an 802.3af-compliant PoE switch. Install the camera under a protective overhang if exposed to severe weather and adjust the field of view to minimize direct sunlight or strong backlighting into the lens.
