How to use

Mount the access point at the desired location with clear line-of-sight to subscriber stations for optimal performance in the 60 GHz band. Connect to a PoE-capable switch or power source compatible with the device, then plug the Ethernet cable into the RJ-45 port. Use the UISP® Mobile app and Bluetooth to perform initial configuration, set SSID and security (AES/WPA2-PSK), and add stations. For sustained throughput, ensure correct alignment of stations and verify fallback 5 GHz radio settings where needed.

Usage recommendations

Install the device where line-of-sight is maintained between the access point and client stations; avoid obstructions and heavy precipitation for optimal 60 GHz performance. Configure the 5 GHz backup radio to activate automatically if the primary 60 GHz link degrades, and keep firmware updated via UISP to maintain security and stability.
