UN BESSEY D49-2 Straight Snips, Stainless Steel Blades, 165 mm
UN BESSEY D49-2 Straight Snips, Stainless Steel Blades, 165 mm
UN BESSEY D49-2 straight snips, 165 mm long, feature stainless steel blades and an ergonomic handle designed to reduce hand fatigue. The snips are built for precise, straight cuts on multicore cables up to 10 mm in diameter, as well as for trimming wire, sheet materials and small components in workshop, electrical and maintenance tasks.
The stainless steel blades provide corrosion resistance and maintain a sharp cutting edge for accurate, repeatable cuts. The ERGO-handle improves comfort during extended use and helps reduce hand strain. Their straight blade profile and balanced feel allow controlled trimming and finishing work.
These straight snips are intended for precise trimming and small cutting tasks; they are not designed for heavy-duty cutting of large-gauge cable, thick rod, or hardened materials. For tasks requiring greater cutting force or larger capacity, a dedicated heavy-duty cutter or bolt cutter is more appropriate.
Position the straight blades around the cable or material to be cut so the cutting edge meets the workpiece at the intended point. Apply steady, even pressure on the handles until the blades close completely and sever the material. For cleaner cuts on thin sheet or wire, make sure the blades are aligned and the material is supported. After use, wipe the blades clean and store the snips in a dry place to maintain blade condition.
Use the snips for precise, straight cuts on cables, wire and thin sheet; avoid cutting hardened wire, large-gauge conductors or materials exceeding the recommended diameter to prolong blade life and maintain cutting performance.
