Tube brush for copper pipe UNIPAK Ø15 mm, UNIBRUSH model 4312015
UNIPAK UNIBRUSH Ø15 mm is a tube brush designed to clean and deburr the interior and edges of copper pipes with an internal diameter of approximately 15 mm. The brush removes oxidation, solder residues and scale mechanically, preparing pipe surfaces for reliable soldering, brazing or fitting. It is intended for preparatory work in HVAC, plumbing and refrigeration systems where a clean pipe bore and square edge are important for joint quality.
The UNIBRUSH offers consistent mechanical cleaning of the pipe interior and edge without the need for chemicals. Its size and filament arrangement provide effective removal of corrosion and residues while maintaining the pipe geometry. The brush construction enables repeated use on similar-diameter copper tubing and speeds up preparation steps compared with manual scraping alone. Designed for compatibility with standard handles or rotary tools, it allows controlled cleaning in confined spaces.
Insert the brush into the open end of the pipe and rotate it while applying light axial pressure to engage the filaments with the inner wall and pipe edge. Rotate several times and withdraw the brush to inspect the cleaned surface; repeat until oxidation and residues are removed and the edge is square and free of burrs. For best results, follow with a solvent wipe or compressed air to remove loosened particles before soldering or fitting. Ensure the pipe is secured and that rotation is controlled to avoid over-aggressive material removal.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection. Check the brush filaments regularly for wear and replace the brush when cleaning performance declines. Do not use excessive force or high-speed rotary tools that may deform thin-walled tubing; use moderate rotation and inspect the pipe frequently during preparation.
