Uni-T LM40T Laser Distance Meter
The Uni-T LM40T Laser Distance Meter is a versatile 2-in-1 measuring tool designed to provide precise distance, area, and volume calculations. By integrating a traditional 5-meter tape measure with a 40-meter laser distance sensor, this device offers a comprehensive solution for professionals in construction, interior design, and engineering, as well as for demanding DIY enthusiasts. Its compact, ergonomic design ensures it remains a portable and reliable companion for any measurement task.
The primary benefit of the Uni-T LM40T is its dual-functionality, which allows users to switch seamlessly between laser precision and manual tape measurement. The device features an intuitive one-button operation that significantly reduces setup time and increases workflow efficiency. With a robust build that includes 1-meter drop resistance, it is engineered to withstand the rigors of active job sites. The clear 1.2-inch display provides instant data feedback, while the ability to toggle between meters, feet, and inches ensures compatibility with various international measurement standards.
This device is not intended for long-range outdoor measurements exceeding 40 meters or for use in extremely bright sunlight, which may affect laser visibility. It is also not designed for underwater use or environments with high levels of dust and moisture that exceed standard industrial protection levels.
To use the laser function, power on the device and point the laser at the target surface. Press the measurement button once to capture a single distance reading. For continuous measurements, hold the button to track changes in distance in real-time. The device uses the rear of the casing as the measurement reference point. For manual measurements, simply pull out the integrated tape measure and lock it in place as needed. Ensure the batteries are fresh to maintain optimal laser intensity and display clarity.
For the most accurate results, always ensure the rear of the device is pressed firmly against a flat reference surface. Avoid looking directly into the laser beam and keep the lens clean from dust or debris to maintain measurement reliability.
