Filter element USTM IR5 4302017 for surface treatment systems
Replacement filter element USTM IR5 (model 4302017) designed for use in flow-through water treatment systems and 5-inch standard in-line filter housings to reduce dissolved iron (Fe2+) and manganese concentrations. The cartridge fits standard 5"×2.5" filter housings and can be used in compatible filters from other manufacturers. It is typically installed upstream of individual water points (for example, under-sink FS2/FS3 type filters) and performs iron removal while water flows through the media.
The USTM IR5 filter element provides targeted reduction of dissolved iron and manganese without requiring system redesign. Its standard dimensions ensure wide compatibility with 5-inch in-line housings, and the cartridge is simple to replace during routine maintenance. Service life is specified up to 1000 L or up to 6 months, with a recommended maximum operating flow rate of 3 L/min.
Install the cartridge into a compatible 5"×2.5" in-line filter housing according to the housing manufacturer's instructions. Place the unit upstream of the water outlet you wish to protect (for example, under-sink points). Ensure correct sealing and follow standard plumbing practice. Replace the cartridge when the specified service volume (up to 1000 L) or the time limit (up to 6 months) is reached, or earlier if flow is noticeably reduced.
Use within the specified flow rate (max. 3 L/min) for optimal iron and manganese reduction; monitor inlet water quality and replace the cartridge sooner if iron load or turbidity is high.
