Wood Impregnating Protector V33 Haute Protection 109019 — Light Oak tint
V33 Haute Protection wood impregnation in Light Oak tint is a ready-to-use protective treatment formulated to penetrate wood fibers and provide long-lasting moisture resistance while subtly enhancing the natural color. Designed for both interior and exterior joinery, this impregnation helps reduce early-stage degradation, protects against water ingress and improves the adhesion and appearance of subsequent finishing coats.
The treatment provides deep penetration into timber, offering effective protection against moisture and helping to delay fungal and dimensional movement in wood. Its Light Oak tint evens out colour variations and refreshes pale or weathered surfaces without obscuring the natural grain. The product is compatible with a range of finishing systems, improving topcoat adhesion and reducing the number of finish layers required in some cases.
Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease or loose particles. Stir the product well before use. Apply evenly in the direction of the grain with a brush, roller or low-pressure sprayer, avoiding puddles. Allow the impregnation to penetrate; wipe off any excess if pooling occurs. Let the coat dry fully according to ambient conditions before applying any subsequent topcoat or decorative finish.
For best results, test the tint on a small inconspicuous area to check colour and absorption. Apply at recommended temperatures and avoid application in direct rain or extreme humidity. For exterior applications, maintain coated surfaces periodically and reapply an appropriate topcoat to preserve protection and appearance.
