How to use

Shake the bottle well before use to ensure uniform pigment suspension. For airbrushing, thin the paint as needed with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver to achieve the desired viscosity; recommended compressor pressure for Metal Color is approximately 15–20 psi (0.5–1 kg). Apply thin, even coats on a properly primed surface and allow the layers to dry; the paint sets quickly but waiting around 12 hours is advised before applying masks. For brush application, use thin layers to avoid obscuring fine details and allow sufficient drying time between coats.

Usage recommendations

For best metallic depth on aircraft and similar components, prime with a gloss black primer to enhance the aluminium effect. Clean the airbrush after use with Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner. If additional protection or gloss is required, finish with an appropriate varnish once the paint has fully cured.
