Primer paint VALLEJO 73.660 base primer 0.06 L for metal, PVC, wood
VALLEJO 73.660 base primer 0.06 L is a ready-mixed surface primer formulated for use on metal, PVC and wood. Supplied in a compact 0.06 L bottle, this primer creates an even, non-flammable preparatory coat that preserves fine surface detail and improves adhesion of subsequent paints. The fast-drying formula forms a uniform, durable film within hours and can be applied directly or diluted for airbrush use.
This primer provides a consistent, thin base layer that maintains model detail while promoting stronger paint adhesion. Its water-based, solvent-free composition reduces flammability and makes handling easier in small workspaces. The product is compatible with resin, white metal, brass, PVC and wood surfaces, dries rapidly to a homogenous film, and can be adjusted for airbrushing with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver.
Shake the bottle well before use and apply a thin, even coat to a clean, dry surface. For brush application, spread lightly to avoid obscuring fine details. For airbrush use, dilute with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver to the desired viscosity and set compressor pressure around 15–20 PSI (0.5–1 kg). Allow each layer to dry before applying additional coats; the primer will form a strong, homogeneous film within a few hours.
Use in a well-ventilated area and store away from extreme temperatures. For best airbrush maintenance, clean equipment after use with Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner. Apply multiple light coats rather than a single heavy coat to preserve surface detail and ensure optimal adhesion of subsequent paint layers.
