The VALUE Cable adapter MiniDP M - HDMI F v1.2 lets you connect a Mini DisplayPort output on a graphics card or other source device to an HDMI monitor or TV using a standard HDMI cable. The compact adapter (approx. 14 x 44 x 44 mm) supports DisplayPort 1.2 features to enable higher resolutions, increased refresh rates and greater color depth. Note that the adapter is unidirectional: the Mini DisplayPort plug must be connected to the source device.

How to use

Plug the Mini DisplayPort connector into the source device (for example the graphics card or a laptop Mini DisplayPort output). Attach a standard HDMI male-to-male cable to the adapter’s HDMI female socket and connect the other end to the HDMI input of the monitor or TV. Power on both devices and select the correct HDMI input on the display. Because the adapter works only from Mini DisplayPort source to HDMI sink, it will not convert an HDMI output to Mini DisplayPort.
