Angle stop valve Valvex Korek G1/2 inch with flange
Valvex Korek G1/2 inch angle stop valve with flange is a compact shut-off valve designed for domestic water installations. The valve features a right-angle body with a G1/2" threaded inlet/outlet and an integrated mounting flange to secure the fitting to a finished surface. Intended for isolation of fixtures, it allows controlled shut-off of water supply to taps, toilets, washing machines and other sanitary appliances during maintenance or replacement.
The angle stop valve offers reliable flow control and leak prevention through durable construction and precise thread engagement. Its compact, right-angle design saves installation space behind fixtures and enables easier access in tight locations. The included flange provides a neat finish where the valve meets the wall or panel, improving stability after installation. The valve is suitable for frequent shut-off operations required during repairs or part replacements.
Shut off the main supply before installing the angle stop valve. Fit the valve to the appropriate G1/2" connection on the supply line or fixture using suitable sealing (e.g., PTFE tape) on threaded joints if required. Position the flange against the finished surface and secure the valve according to the installation conditions. Turn the valve handle clockwise to close and counterclockwise to open, operating with moderate force to avoid overtightening. After installation, slowly restore water supply and check for leaks around threads and the flange.
For durable performance, use the valve in accordance with local plumbing codes and avoid exposure to aggressive chemicals. Periodically operate the valve to prevent seizing and inspect joints for signs of leakage. When installing in concealed or tiled areas, ensure the flange is flush with the finish to allow easy access for future maintenance.
