The Veracity Pinpoint IP Camera Setup Adaptor allows viewing and configuring IP PoE cameras from a laptop or other portable device without removing the camera from the network or interrupting PoE power. The compact adaptor is designed to simplify and speed up on-site camera setup by enabling a single installer to precisely adjust focus and settings, avoiding the need for a partner in the control room and reducing installation time.

Advantages

The adaptor supports IEEE 802.3af PoE, PoE Plus and non-standard PoE types up to 30 W, and works with 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Ethernet. Its small dimensions (65 x 32 x 20 mm) make it easy to carry and connect on-site. An integrated LED indicates the presence of PoE power, and the device uses a standard Cat5E patch cable for connection, enabling accurate camera focusing and configuration while leaving the camera powered and networked.
