3D printing material Verbatim 55330 Polylactic acid (PLA) Red
Verbatim 55330 Polylactic Acid (PLA) is a red 3D printing filament supplied on a 1 kg spool. The filament has a diameter of 2.85 mm and a length of approximately 126 m, and is compatible with printers from any brand. Made from renewable plant-based resources, this PLA formulation is odourless and offers good post-printing workability, suitable for concept modelling, education and general-purpose 3D printing.
This Verbatim PLA is easy to print, exhibits low warping and consistent extrusion due to strict quality controls during manufacture. Its odourless composition and good finishing properties make it practical for classroom or home environments and for applications where clean post-processing is required. The 2.85 mm diameter spool provides compatibility with printers that accept the thicker filament size.
Load the 2.85 mm filament into a compatible 3D printer following the printer manufacturer's instructions. Set printing parameters appropriate for PLA (nozzle temperature and bed temperature according to your printer and filament guidance). After printing, allow parts to cool before removing from the build plate and perform any necessary post-processing such as sanding or painting.
Store the filament on its spool in a dry environment away from direct sunlight to minimise moisture absorption. Use recommended print temperatures and calibrate extrusion for 2.85 mm filament to ensure consistent print quality.
