This compact external Blu-ray writer lets you create reliable backups of important files — photos, videos, documents and archives — and supports a wide range of disc formats from 700MB CDs to 100GB BDXL discs. The drive is USB powered and lightweight, making it convenient to carry with a notebook or ultrabook.

Advantages

The slimline Blu-ray writer supports fast recording speeds, buffer under-run protection and Zero Power ODD to reduce power consumption when idle. It includes Nero Burn & Archive software for PC to organise, burn and archive files, plus media streaming options and optional password protection and electronic signatures. A free 25GB Verbatim Blu-ray M-DISC is included, and the drive is fully compliant with M-DISC archiving technology.

How to use

Connect the Slimline Blu-ray Writer to your computer using the supplied USB-C to USB-A cable or the included adapter for USB-C ports. Install the Nero Burn & Archive software on a Windows PC if you plan to use the bundled tools (playback software is not included). Insert the desired disc into the tray, select your burning or playback application and follow on-screen instructions to burn, archive or play media. The drive draws power from the USB port, so no separate power supply is needed.
