Drill bit set Verto 60H959 — 5-piece right-hand rotation drill bits
Drill bit set Verto 60H959 — 5-piece right-hand rotation drill bits
Verto 60H959 is a 5-piece set of right-hand rotation drill bits (hole cutters) designed for making clean circular openings with standard rotary drills and compatible hole saw attachments. The set contains crowns with diameters from 60 mm to 90 mm and a maximum cutting depth of 30 mm. Hardened teeth in the crown tubes provide durability and efficient cutting performance on common building materials such as wood, aluminium, copper, laminates and plastics.
The hardened cutting edges and crown construction deliver consistent cutting with reduced wear, while the five sizes in the set cover a range of typical hole diameters for installations and retrofit work. Right-hand rotation compatibility ensures straightforward use with most standard rotary drills and hole saw arbors. The crowns are suited to materials where a combination of speed and clean edge finish is required, and the limited cutting depth helps control penetration in thin panels and laminates.
Select the crown diameter appropriate for the required opening, mount the crown on a compatible hole saw arbor and secure it according to the arbor manufacturer's instructions. Fit the arbor into a standard rotary drill with right-hand rotation, clamp the workpiece as necessary, and start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed as appropriate for the material. Apply steady axial pressure, clear chips periodically, and stop once the maximum cutting depth is reached or the hole is complete. Observe safe drilling practices and wear appropriate eye and hand protection.
For best results when cutting thin sheets or laminates, use a sacrificial backing board to reduce tear-out and select a lower drill speed for metal sheets to avoid overheating the crown teeth. Regularly remove accumulated debris from the crown tube and inspect teeth for wear; replace crowns showing significant bluntness to maintain clean cuts.
