Circular saw blade Verto 61H124, 1 pc, weight 270 g
Verto 61H124 circular saw blade, supplied as a single unit with a net weight of 270 g, is a solid carbide replacement blade with a 190 mm outer diameter. The blade has a reduced thickness for higher cutting speed and features sintered carbide tips (YG8A) on the teeth, engineered for rough cutting of wood and wood-based materials such as plywood, chipboard and MDF. Adapter rings are included to enable fitting in a wide range of circular saw models, making the blade suitable for workshop and DIY use.
The solid carbide construction and YG8A sintered carbide tips provide good wear resistance and maintain cutting performance when working with abrasive wood-based panels. Reduced blade thickness lowers cutting resistance and increases feed rate without compromising the tooth geometry required for coarse cuts. Included adapter rings improve compatibility with different saw arbor sizes, simplifying installation across many common circular saw models.
Ensure the saw is disconnected from power before changing the blade. Select and fit the appropriate adapter ring for your saw arbor, position the blade with the rotation direction matching the saw guard indication, and secure the blade according to the saw manufacturer's torque specifications. Verify blade runout and guard function before cutting. Use steady feed and appropriate cutting speed for coarse cutting tasks; allow the blade to reach full speed before engaging material.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, and follow the circular saw manufacturer's safety instructions. For best results when cutting plywood, chipboard or MDF, use firm support to reduce vibration and prevent tear-out. Inspect the blade regularly for wear or damage and replace if teeth are chipped or performance decreases.
