With a lens diameter of 1.6 cm, this adapter preserves alignment and contact continuity so that lenses can be mounted and used on Micro Four Thirds systems for both stills and video work.

How to use

Mount the tube onto the lens first by aligning the tube’s alignment dot with the lens dot, then turn the tube clockwise until it clicks into place. Keep the electronic contacts clean to ensure reliable communication. Mount the combined tube and lens assembly to the camera body the same way you would mount a lens. When using one or both tubes, they can be combined freely to achieve the desired extension. To remove the assembly from the camera, press the camera’s lens release button and turn the tube counter-clockwise. To detach the lens from the tube, press the release button on the tube and turn the lens counter-clockwise.

Usage recommendations

Use the tubes to shorten the minimum focusing distance of compatible lenses for macro-style framing; longer combined extension gives greater magnification. Because the tubes contain no optics, exposure adjustments may be required when close focusing. Ensure contacts are free from dust and moisture and avoid forcing mounts to prevent wear.
