Dash Camera VIOFO A119 MINI 2-G GPS – 1‑ch Quad HD 2560×1440, Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675, 60 fps, 140° F1.6, GPS, Wi‑Fi, Dual‑band, Parking mode
VIOFO A119 MINI 2-G GPS is a single‑channel dash camera that records Quad HD video at 2560×1440 and up to 60 fps using a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensor and an F1.6 lens with a 140° viewing angle. The compact black body includes an LCD screen and supports microSD cards up to 512 GB. Built-in GPS logs location and speed, while dual‑band Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth enable wireless connection and app control. The unit supports continuous loop recording, parking mode, time‑lapse, WDR, motion and shock sensors, and automatic recording.
The camera delivers high‑resolution Quad HD footage with a sensitive STARVIS 2 sensor and a bright F1.6 aperture for improved low‑light performance and clear daytime detail. Dual‑band Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth provide reliable wireless connectivity for transferring video and configuring settings via the companion app. Integrated GPS captures route and speed data, while features such as parking mode, motion and shock sensors, WDR, and loop recording help ensure important events are recorded and preserved.
This single‑channel recorder captures only the front view; it is not suitable if you need rear or cabin cameras included. It does not contain built‑in storage, so a compatible microSD card (up to 512 GB) is required before use. The compact size limits the physical controls and screen area compared with larger dashcams.
Mount the camera to the windscreen using the supplied bracket with the glued GPS module; the camera can be powered through the bracket. Insert a compatible microSD card (not included) up to 512 GB and connect power via the USB‑C cable. On first use, set date, time and GPS options in the device or companion app, adjust camera angle for a clear front view, and verify that loop recording, motion detection and parking mode are configured to your preference. Use the app over Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth to download footage and change settings as needed.
For reliable recordings, use a high‑endurance microSD card from a reputable brand, format it in the camera before first use, and mount the camera centrally on the windscreen to maximise the 140° field of view. Enable parking mode and motion detection if you need event recording while the vehicle is unattended, and periodically back up important footage via the Wi‑Fi connection to the companion app or to a computer.
