The Vision TC-USBSER Black converts a USB port on a computer into a 9-pin D-sub (DB9) serial port for RS-232 control applications. The compact black adapter connects via a USB-B (male) plug and presents a 9-pin D-sub (male) connector, installs as a standard COM port and is powered directly from the USB port.

Advantages

This USB-to-serial adapter uses an FTDI chipset and nickel-plated connectors for reliable electrical contact. It supports all RS-232 signal lines (TxD, RxD, RTS, CTS, DSR, DTR, DCD, RI, GND) and offers USB power so no external power supply is required.
