Cable splitter Vivanco 44186
The Vivanco 44186 cable splitter is a compact, fully shielded device for distributing aerial and cable signals. It features four F-socket outputs and supports a wide frequency range from 5 to 2400 MHz with an impedance of 75 Ohm. The splitter allows a return path and DC power pass on the trunk, making it suitable for systems that require power feeding to amplifiers or active devices.
Fully shielded construction reduces interference and preserves signal integrity. Four F-socket outputs provide convenient splitting of a single input to multiple receivers. The wide frequency range (5–2400 MHz) and 75 Ohm impedance ensure compatibility with common TV and satellite cable installations. DC power pass on the trunk allows powering of upstream devices without extra cabling.
Connect the incoming coaxial cable to the splitter's input F socket and connect receiver cables to the four output F sockets. Ensure all connections are tightened securely using appropriate F-connector tools to maintain shielding and minimize signal loss. If DC power feeding is required, connect the power source to the trunk (input) side according to the system design so that the DC is passed through to the powered device.
Place the splitter in a dry, ventilated location away from strong electromagnetic sources. Use quality coaxial cables and properly installed F connectors to achieve optimal performance. If signal levels are low after splitting, consider using an amplifier or a splitter with lower insertion loss.
