Volt VPRO Solar Gel battery 12V 140Ah is a valve-regulated gel battery designed for solar, off-grid and backup applications. The maintenance-free gel construction provides resistance to deep discharge cycles and stable performance in buffer and cyclic modes. With robust ABS housing and copper terminals, the battery is intended for long service life and reliable power delivery in stationary energy storage, inverters and mobile electric vehicles.

How to use

Install the battery in a well-ventilated, dry location and secure it to prevent movement. Use a compatible solar charge controller or inverter configured to the recommended charge voltages for cyclic or float operation and enable temperature compensation if available. Connect positive and negative terminals with appropriately rated cables and torque terminals according to installer or equipment instructions. Avoid deep discharges beyond the recommended depth of discharge for your application and recharge the battery promptly after use to prolong service life.

Usage recommendations

Store the battery charged and recharge every few months if unused; at 25°C the battery retains about 91% capacity after three months of storage. For longest life in buffer applications keep ambient temperature near 25°C and follow the specified float charge settings. Use proper protective equipment and follow local regulations for battery handling and disposal.
