Blind rivets Vorel 70430, aluminium, 19 mm length, pack of 50
Vorel 70430 blind rivets are aluminium, 19 mm long fasteners supplied in a pack of 50. Designed for use where access is possible from only one side, these blind rivets provide a permanent mechanical joint for thin metal sheets and lightweight components. Their aluminium construction gives good resistance to corrosion and a low weight, making them suitable for applications in general repair, sheet metal assembly, automotive trim, ventilation and light fabrication tasks.
These blind rivets combine ease of installation with reliable holding strength for non-structural joints. Aluminium material offers corrosion resistance and compatibility with similar metals, while the 19 mm length accommodates a range of combined material thicknesses. Supplied in a pack of 50, they provide a convenient quantity for small to medium projects and routine maintenance tasks.
Drill a hole through the joined materials matching the rivet diameter, insert the rivet into the hole until the flange sits flush against the surface, and use an appropriate blind rivet tool to pull the mandrel and form the blind head. Continue squeezing the rivet tool until the mandrel breaks off and the rivet body has deformed to clamp the materials securely. Remove any remaining mandrel stub and check the joint for proper seating and tightness.
For best performance, select a rivet diameter matching the total combined thickness of the materials. Use a rivet tool rated for aluminium blind rivets and ensure drill hole size and tool settings correspond to the rivet dimensions. Avoid exposure to highly corrosive environments or dissimilar metal contact without appropriate isolation to reduce the risk of galvanic corrosion.
