How to use

Pull out the required length of rope, press the line against the surface at one end, and secure the other end or have an assistant hold it taut. Snap the chalked line against the surface to leave a clear reference mark. After marking, use the rolling crank to rewind the rope into the housing and close the chalk reservoir cap if present. Refill the chalk reservoir according to manufacturer instructions when marking becomes faint.
