VOREL 18020 level
The VOREL 18020 level is a lightweight aluminium tripod designed to support measuring and imaging instruments. Constructed from aluminium and weighing approximately 400 g, this single-piece tripod offers a compact and portable solution for mounting laser levels, cameras, rangefinders, telescopes and similar devices that use a standard 3/8" mounting thread. The telescopic legs and adjustable centre column provide variable height settings to suit a range of working conditions.
Made from aluminium, the VOREL 18020 offers a balance of durability and low weight, making it easy to carry between sites. The tripod features a geared or crank-style centre column for controlled height adjustment and a head with a handle and leveling knob for fine positional control. Telescopic legs permit a compact minimum length and extend to greater heights when required, while a hook at the column base allows hanging a small weight to increase stability in windy or uneven conditions.
Set the tripod on a stable surface and extend the telescopic legs to the required working height, locking each section securely. If additional height is needed, raise the centre column using the crank mechanism to the desired level, taking care not to exceed the specified maximum working height. Attach your device using the 3/8" mounting thread and adjust the head using the handle and leveling knob until the instrument is correctly oriented. For improved stability, hang a suitable weight from the hook at the base of the centre column when working in windy or uneven conditions.
For steady results, inspect and tighten leg locks and the head mount before each use, avoid overextending the centre column when carrying a load, and store the tripod dry to prevent wear. Use the 3/8" mount adapter only with compatible equipment and distribute weight evenly across the legs for best stability.
