Measuring square Vorel TOYA 18350 — aluminium and steel construction, 1 pc
The Vorel TOYA 18350 measuring square is a single-piece layout tool for carpentry and metalwork that provides a rigid 90° reference edge for marking and checking squareness. Constructed from aluminium with steel components, it is designed for routine workshop and construction tasks such as verifying frames, joints and assemblies. The product combines a durable aluminium foot with a hardened sheet-metal arm that carries clear millimeter graduations for precise alignment.
The combination of an aluminium foot and a hardened steel arm gives the tool dimensional stability and resistance to everyday wear. Visible black millimeter graduations on a lacquered yellow arm improve readability in variable lighting. Supplied as a single piece, the measuring square is ready for immediate use and provides a straight, rigid reference edge for marking, measuring and checking right angles in both wood and metal applications.
Place the aluminium foot flat against the edge or face of the workpiece so the arm projects across the surface to be marked or checked. Align the black millimeter graduations on the lacquered arm to the desired measurement or reference point, then scribe or mark along the straight edge to transfer the 90° line. For squareness checks, press the foot firmly against one face and inspect the mating surface along the arm to confirm alignment. Use with clamps to secure the square when performing repetitive layout or cutting tasks.
Store the measuring square in a dry place to avoid corrosion of steel components, and wipe the arm and graduations clean after use to maintain legibility. Check the reference edge periodically on a known square or straightedge before critical layout operations.
