VOREL 25519 masonry chisels
VOREL 25519 masonry chisels are single-piece tools made of steel, designed for basic masonry and woodworking-related tasks. The chisel features a hardened manganese steel blade with polished milled edges and a durable plastic handle reinforced with a metal striking insert. Supplied as one chisel per pack, it is intended for use where a robust cutting or shaping edge and a handle able to withstand striking are required.
The hardened manganese steel blade provides wear resistance and retains a cutting edge during repeated use. The fully polished milled blade reduces friction and improves control when cutting or carving material. The plastic handle is mechanically resistant and includes a metal insert to allow impact striking without damaging the grip, extending the tool's service life under standard working conditions.
Hold the chisel with the handle in one hand and position the blade against the work surface at the required angle. For cutting or carving, apply controlled force with the chisel and, when necessary, strike the handle with a hammer or mallet on the reinforced end. Keep the blade aligned with the intended cut and make several shallow passes rather than attempting deep cuts in a single stroke to maintain control and reduce the risk of blade damage.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves. Keep the blade sharp and free of nicks for best performance; hone or file the edge as needed following manufacturer-safe practices. Use a hammer or mallet compatible with striking-reinforced handles and avoid excessive lateral force that could damage the handle or blade.
