Wrecking/Crow Bar Vorel 34243 — Steel, Length 500 mm, 1 pc
Vorel 34243 wrecking/crow bar is a compact steel prying tool with a length of 500 mm supplied as a single piece. It combines a flat, sharpened end for undermining, lifting and breaking with an opposing bent end that has a nail-pulling slot. The bar is made from carbon steel with extra-hardened ends and a lacquered surface; its 18 mm hexagonal shaft offers a secure grip and improved torsional strength for controlled prying and light demolition in confined spaces.
The crow bar’s extra-hardened ends increase durability when prying or striking, while the flat sharpened tip is designed to slip under materials for controlled lifting and separation. The bent end with a nail slot enables efficient nail extraction without additional tools. A lacquered finish resists surface corrosion and the 18 mm hexagonal shaft improves handling and reduces rolling when set down.
Position the flat sharpened end under the material edge or between joints and apply steady leverage to lift, separate or break connections. For nail removal, place the nail into the slot on the bent end and use leverage to extract it; protect surrounding surfaces with a thin block of wood if required to avoid damage. Use controlled force appropriate to the material and task to prevent tool or workpiece damage.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety goggles and gloves when prying or performing demolition. Inspect the crow bar for visible damage before use and avoid excessive side bending beyond the tool’s design limits. Store the tool in a dry place to preserve the lacquered finish.
