VOREL 34247 wrecking/crow bar is a 1000 mm demolition tool made of carbon steel with a lacquered surface and a hexagonal 18 mm shaft. One end is flat and sharpened for prying, lifting and smashing, while the opposite end is bent and slotted to assist with nail pulling. The tool is designed for general demolition and construction tasks that require levering force and controlled impact.
The carbon steel construction with extra-hardened ends provides increased resistance to wear at working points. The hexagonal 18 mm shaft improves grip and reduces rotation in the hand during heavy leverage tasks. A lacquered surface offers basic corrosion protection and a smoother finish for handling and storage. The dual-end design combines a flat sharpened edge for prying and a bent slotted end for nail extraction, making the bar versatile for different demolition operations.
Position the flat sharpened end under the object or material to be pried, using controlled leverage from the hexagonal shaft to lift or separate elements. For nail removal, place the slotted bent end over the nail head and apply steady pulling force; using a block under the bar can increase leverage and protect the work surface. When smashing or breaking small sections, deliver measured blows with the bar while maintaining a firm grip and stable stance. Inspect the tool before use and ensure safe body positioning to avoid slippage or rebound.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment—gloves, safety glasses and sturdy footwear—when performing demolition work. Store the crow bar in a dry place to minimise corrosion despite the lacquered finish. Use correct leverage techniques and avoid excessive twisting forces that could damage the bar or cause injury.
