The VOREL 35351 masonry chisel is a 300 mm carbon steel tool designed for cutting and shaping masonry materials. Its hardened working edge and durable construction provide precise results and reliable performance for a range of masonry tasks.
The chisel features a hardened working part for long-lasting edge retention and a blue lacquered surface that protects against corrosion. A hard plastic cap on the upper part shields the hand from accidental hammer impacts and improves safety during use.
Position the chisel on the masonry at the desired cutting or splitting line and strike the upper end with a hammer or mallet to cut, trim or remove material. Maintain a firm grip and control the angle to achieve accurate results; use progressive strikes rather than excessive force to avoid damaging the tool or workpiece. Inspect the hardened edge before use and replace the tool if it shows significant wear or deformation.
