Clamp Vorel 37100 — bar clamp, iron and wood construction, 100 mm length
Vorel 37100 is a compact bar clamp designed for precise short-span clamping in light woodworking and metalworking tasks. Constructed with iron components and wooden elements, it provides a 100 mm clamping length and is supplied as a single unit. The clamp is intended for holding small workpieces securely during gluing, assembly and other operations that require controlled pressure over a limited span.
The clamp combines a cast iron jaw design with a stable steel rail and a pressure screw fitted with a swivelling pressure plate, ensuring reliable clamping force and alignment. A lacquered wooden handle with a metal reinforcement cap gives comfortable manual operation and increased durability. Its compact size and single-piece supply make it easy to store and integrate into a small workshop or portable tool kit.
Position the jaws around the workpiece so that the pressing plate contacts the surface to be secured. Turn the wooden handle clockwise to advance the pressure screw until the desired clamping pressure is reached; avoid excessive force that could damage the workpiece. To release, turn the handle counterclockwise until the jaws open sufficiently to remove the piece. Check alignment and contact surfaces before applying full pressure to ensure even clamping.
Use protective pads between the clamp jaws and delicate surfaces to prevent marks. Inspect the rail and screw for debris and keep them lightly lubricated to maintain smooth operation. Store the clamp in a dry place to avoid corrosion of iron parts.
