Manual screwdriver Vorel 61240 — hand tool, 1 piece
Vorel 61240 manual screwdriver is a basic hand tool supplied as a single piece for manual fastening and loosening of screws. It is intended for general household and workshop tasks such as maintenance, assembly, repair and electrical or carpentry work where a compact manual driver is required. The screwdriver features a steel shaft with a satin-finished tip and a moulded plastic handle for hand-held use.
The screwdriver shaft is made of chrome‑vanadium (CRV) steel for enhanced wear resistance and torque transmission. The tip is additionally sanded and magnetized to improve engagement with screw heads and reduce the risk of slippage during use. The plastic handle provides a secure grip for manual turning and precise control in confined or delicate operations. Supplied as a single-piece tool, it is lightweight and easy to store in a toolbox or workbench drawer.
Select the screwdriver and position the tip in the screw head ensuring correct alignment to the Phillips recess. Apply steady axial pressure and turn the handle clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen the screw. The magnetized tip helps retain small screws on the driver during insertion or removal. Use moderate force appropriate to the screw size and material to avoid cam‑out or damage to the screw head. Store the screwdriver in a dry place after use.
For safe and effective use, match the PH0 tip to correspondingly sized screws; do not use the screwdriver as a pry bar or for striking. Wear appropriate hand protection when working on tasks that require force, and keep the magnetized tip away from sensitive electronic media.
