Riveter Vorel 70000 – hand rivet tool, single piece
Vorel 70000 is a manual hand rivet tool supplied as a single piece. It is designed for installing blind rivets in metal, plastic and other thin materials, providing a compact and portable solution for repair, assembly and fastening tasks. The tool is suitable for use in DIY projects, workshops and light industrial environments where reliable blind rivet installation is required.
The Vorel 70000 riveter offers a simple, mechanical operation that does not require power sources, making it easy to use in locations without electricity. Ergonomic handles with non-slip rubber lining improve grip and control during installation, reducing slippage and hand fatigue. The tool supports a range of common rivet diameters and is compatible with rivets made of steel, stainless steel and aluminum, providing versatility across different materials and applications.
Select a rivet of the appropriate material and diameter for the workpieces to be joined. Drill a hole that matches the rivet diameter, insert the blind rivet through the aligned materials, and place the rivet mandrel into the nosepiece of the Vorel 70000. Squeeze the handles steadily until the mandrel snaps and the rivet body compresses to form a secure joint. Release the handles and remove the spent mandrel. For different rivet diameters, change the nosepiece or setting according to the tool’s instruction guidance before installation.
Use eye protection when installing rivets and ensure workpieces are clamped or supported to maintain alignment. Match rivet material to the base materials to avoid galvanic corrosion (for example, aluminium rivets for aluminium panels). Inspect the tool’s nosepieces and jaws for wear and replace them if installation quality declines.
