Riveter Vorel 70100 — hand rivet tool, pack of 1
The Vorel 70100 hand rivet tool is a manual device for installing blind rivets in applications where access is possible from only one side. Supplied as a single unit per pack, this riveter is intended for light repair, assembly and DIY tasks that require creating permanent mechanical joints in metal, plastic or sheet materials. It accepts common rivet materials and sizes for everyday fastening work.
The riveter is compatible with rivets made of steel, stainless steel and aluminum, providing flexibility for different material pairings. Ergonomic handles fitted with a non-slip rubber lining improve grip and control during operation. Its manual mechanism requires no external power source, making it portable and suitable for on-site or workshop use. The tool is built to perform repeated blind riveting with consistent pull force for secure joints.
Place a suitable blind rivet through the aligned holes of the materials to be joined. Insert the rivet mandrel into the nosepiece of the Vorel hand rivet tool and close the handles until the rivet body deforms and the mandrel snaps, forming the blind head and completing the joint. Release the handles and remove the spent mandrel if necessary, then repeat the process for additional rivets. Select the nosepiece and rivet size that match the material thickness and hole diameter for reliable fastening.
Use rivets of the specified diameters and compatible materials to avoid tool wear or joint failure. Ensure workpieces are properly aligned and hole diameters match the rivet size. For extended use, periodically inspect the nosepiece and jaws for wear and replace them if pull performance decreases. Wear suitable eye protection when operating the tool.
