Riveter Vorel 70202 — hand rivet tool, 1 pc
Vorel 70202 is a hand-operated rivet tool supplied as a single unit for installing blind rivets. This compact manual riveter is intended for permanent mechanical fastening in metalworking, repair and assembly tasks. It is suitable for workshop, construction site and DIY applications where a reliable, manually operated tool for setting rivets is required.
The rivet tool accepts rivets made of steel, stainless steel and aluminum and supports a range of diameters for versatile use. Heads are manufactured from chrome-molybdenum tool steel for enhanced durability under repeated use. Non-slip rubber lining on the handles improves grip and control during operation. The compact, single-piece design makes the tool easy to carry, store and use in confined spaces without the need for power.
Select a rivet of the appropriate diameter and material for the application and drill a hole matching the rivet size through the materials to be joined. Insert the rivet through the aligned holes, position the rivet mandrel into the tool nosepiece, then squeeze the handles together to set the rivet. Continue applying steady pressure until the mandrel snaps and the rivet securely clamps the materials. Release the handles and remove the spent mandrel.
Use the riveter with matching nosepieces or tips for the chosen rivet diameter, maintain a firm but controlled grip on the non-slip handles, and inspect rivets and materials for compatibility before use. For prolonged use, periodically clean and lightly lubricate moving parts and store the tool in a dry place to prevent corrosion of metal components.
