Riveter Vorel 70210 — hand rivet tool, 1 pc
Hand rivet tool Vorel 70210 is a compact manual riveter supplied as a single unit and intended for installing blind rivets in metal, plastic and thin sheet materials. The tool is suitable for common maintenance, repair and assembly tasks where a simple, handheld solution is needed to set rivets for fastening panels, brackets and hinges. Its compact design and non-slip handles make it practical for workshop and DIY use.
The Vorel 70210 riveter allows manual setting of steel, stainless steel and aluminum blind rivets with diameters of 3.4 mm, 4.0 mm and 4.8 mm. Non-slip rubber-lined handles improve grip and control during operation, while the lever mechanism provides mechanical advantage to reduce operator effort. The tool’s compact, handheld form factor enables access to confined spaces and straightforward one-person operation without the need for power supply.
Select a rivet of the appropriate material and diameter for the workpiece and drill a hole matching the rivet diameter. Insert the rivet body through the aligned parts, place the rivet mandrel into the nosepiece of the Vorel 70210 and close the handles to engage the lever mechanism. Apply steady pressure until the rivet sets and the mandrel breaks off. After setting, release the handles and remove the spent mandrel from the tool. For repeated work, ensure proper seating of each rivet before full compression.
Use rivets with diameters matching the tool's supported range (3.4, 4.0, 4.8 mm). Wear eye protection when setting rivets to guard against flying mandrel fragments. Keep the nosepieces clean and change them if worn to ensure proper rivet setting. For improved durability, avoid using excessive lateral force on the tool and store in a dry place to prevent corrosion.
