VOREL 73343 gas torch is a two-nozzle roofing burner designed for professional heat-sealing of roofing felt and other surface heating tasks. The burner length allows work in a standing position and the dual-nozzle configuration delivers high thermal efficiency to speed up covering large areas. The torch is powered from compressed butane cylinders and can also be used with propane–butane mixtures, enabling use in locations without electrical supply.
The VOREL 73343 features a handle-mounted safety valve that automatically closes the gas supply when the burner is set down, reducing gas consumption and improving safety during pauses in work. Its design supports soldering, drying, heating and roofing operations while the included 5 m hose and interchangeably sized nozzles provide practical reach and flexibility. The burner’s construction facilitates stable flame control and straightforward connection to standard gas cylinders for on-site use.
Assemble the burner and hose according to the supplied instruction manual, ensuring all threaded connections are tightened. Attach the other end of the hose to a compatible gas cylinder. Before ignition, check connection tightness by slightly opening the cylinder valve and applying soapy water to joints; if bubbles appear, close the valve and re-tighten the leaking connection, repeating until no leaks are detected. Fully close the cylinder valve, then open the appliance valve just enough to allow gas flow. Ignite the gas at the nozzle using a lighter designed for portable gas burners, then operate the burner lever to increase the flame for initial heating. Adjust the gas pressure with the burner valve if the flame is too short. Release the lever to return the torch to economy mode during continuous use. After completing work, close the cylinder valve, wait for the flame to extinguish, and place the burner on a non-flammable surface to cool before performing any maintenance.
Follow the attached instruction manual for detailed installation, operation and maintenance steps. Use appropriate personal protective equipment, ensure good ventilation when working in confined areas, and always verify hose and connection integrity before each use. Store and transport gas cylinders upright and secure them to prevent tipping. Do not leave the burner unattended while gas supply is open.
