Cable tie Vorel 73882, nylon fastening straps, pack of 100
Vorel 73882 cable ties are nylon fastening straps supplied in a pack of 100 pieces. Each tie measures 100 x 2.5 mm and is made of modified PA6.6UL P4V2 polyamide (nylon), offering a compact solution for bundling and securing cables, hoses and small components in domestic, workshop and installation environments. The ties feature evenly spaced serrations and a one-way locking head that enables a precise, irreversible loop for temporary or permanent fixation. Rated for a maximum tearing force of approximately 8 kg and suitable for cable bundle diameters up to 20 mm, these white ties resist grease, oil and increased UV exposure, making them practical for indoor and some outdoor applications.
Constructed from a modified nylon formulation, Vorel 73882 ties combine enhanced tensile strength and improved mechanical properties with increased resistance to UV radiation, grease and oil. The closely spaced serrations provide fine loop adjustment and reliable one-way locking, preventing accidental release. Supplied in a pack of 100, they offer an economical choice for routine bundling, mounting and organizing tasks where a compact, consistent fastening solution is required.
Insert the free end of the tie through the head and pull until the loop tightens around the bundle or object to the required diameter. Use the serrations to achieve a precise fit; once engaged, the locking mechanism prevents retraction without cutting. For neat installation, position the head away from sensitive surfaces and trim the excess tail close to the head using appropriate cutting tools to avoid sharp edges.
For best performance, select ties with length and tensile rating appropriate to the bundle size and application. Avoid exposing standard nylon ties to prolonged direct sunlight or very high temperatures; for sustained outdoor or high-heat environments consider specialized UV-stabilized or heat-resistant variants. When securing electrical conductors, comply with relevant safety standards and do not overtighten around cables to prevent insulation damage.
