Cable ties Vorel 73884 pack of 100 – nylon fastening straps
Vorel 73884 cable ties are nylon fastening straps supplied in a pack of 100. Each tie measures 200 x 2.5 mm and is made from PA6.6UL P4V2 modified polyamide (nylon). These white cable ties are designed for bundling and securing cables, wires and small hoses in home, workshop or installation tasks. The ties feature evenly distributed serrations on one side and a simple one-directional locking head that prevents retraction after fastening. Modified polyamide construction provides improved tear resistance, good mechanical performance and increased resistance to UV radiation, grease and oil.
The material formulation gives these cable ties enhanced resistance to tearing and reliable mechanical strength for repeated handling during installation. Their increased UV resistance makes them suitable for occasional outdoor exposure, while oil and grease resistance supports use in workshop or machinery environments. The close spacing of serrations allows precise adjustment of the loop to the circumference of the secured element, and the one-way locking head ensures a secure, tamper-resistant hold.
Insert the free end of the cable tie through the head and pull until the loop fits snugly around the cables, wires or hose. Adjust tension to achieve the desired hold; the one-directional locking mechanism prevents the tie from loosening once set. For permanent fastening, tighten fully; for temporary bundling, avoid overtightening to prevent damage to cables or insulation. When multiple ties are needed, space them evenly along the bundle for uniform support.
For best results, select ties of appropriate length and avoid exceeding the specified maximum bundle diameter. In outdoor or high-UV conditions, allow for potential long-term degradation and inspect periodically. Do not use these ties on live electrical conductors without proper insulation. Trim excess tail after installation and, if necessary, use appropriate cutting tools to avoid sharp edges.
