Cable ties Vorel 73886, 100 pieces, nylon fastening straps
Vorel 73886 cable ties pack contains 100 nylon fastening straps designed for bundling and organizing cables, hoses or small items. Each strap is made from modified PA6.6 polyamide (nylon) and measures 370 x 4.8 mm. The ties feature closely spaced serrations on one side and a one-way locking head that prevents opening without damage, allowing precise loop adjustment and reliable, permanent fastening for electrical installations, workshops and household use.
These Vorel nylon fastening straps combine high mechanical strength and enhanced tear resistance with increased UV and grease/oil resistance due to a modified polyamide formulation. With a maximum tensile strength of 22 kg and the ability to fasten bundles up to 100 mm in diameter, the ties offer consistent performance for general cable management and temporary fixes. The compact pack of 100 pieces makes storage and on-site use practical.
Insert the free end of the strap through the head and pull until the loop reaches the required diameter around the item to be secured. The one-way locking mechanism engages with the serrations and prevents the strap from loosening; trim excess length if necessary using cable cutters or scissors. For a permanent connection, tighten firmly until the strap reaches its holding capacity; for less permanent needs, leave a small gap and avoid over-tensioning to prevent deformation of delicate cables or hoses.
Use the appropriate strap length when grouping bundles near heat sources or outdoors; although the modified nylon improves UV resistance, avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure to maximize service life. For electrical installations, ensure ties do not compress cable insulation or obstruct ventilation. Store packs in a dry, cool place away from solvents and strong oxidizers.
