Cable ties Vorel 73887 — nylon fastening straps, pack of 100
Vorel 73887 cable ties are nylon fastening straps supplied in a pack of 100 pieces. Each tie is made of modified polyamide PA6.6UL P4V2 (nylon) and is intended for bundling and securing cables, hoses and small items in electrical, workshop and automotive environments. Ties feature evenly distributed serrations on one side and a self-locking head that prevents withdrawal once tensioned. The set provides a practical solution for general cable management, temporary fixes and small fastening tasks.
The ties combine enhanced tear resistance and good mechanical properties due to the modified polyamide formulation, which increases resistance to UV radiation and provides resistance to grease and oil. Close serration spacing enables precise loop adjustment around the clamped element. The self-locking head secures the loop reliably so that the tie cannot be opened without damage.
Insert the free end of the tie through the head and pull to form a loop around the items to be secured. Tighten until the desired tension is reached; the internal locking mechanism will hold the position and prevent reversal. Trim the excess tail if required. Use appropriate tightness to avoid damaging delicate cables or conduits.
Store ties in a dry, shaded place to preserve UV resistance and mechanical properties. For outdoor or long-term applications consider using products specifically rated for prolonged UV exposure and higher temperature ranges. Avoid overtightening around delicate wires; where necessary, use protective sleeving or pads under the tie to distribute pressure.
