Cable tie Vorel 73888, nylon fastening straps, pack of 50
Vorel 73888 cable ties are nylon fastening straps supplied in a pack of 50 for bundling and securing cables, hoses and small components. Made from PA6.6UL P4V2 modified polyamide (nylon), each tie features a one-way locking head with evenly spaced serrations for precise adjustment and a secure hold. The ties are intended for general-purpose use at home, in workshops and for light industrial tasks where organized routing and reliable fastening are required.
The modified polyamide construction provides enhanced tear resistance, improved mechanical strength and increased resistance to UV exposure, oil and grease. With a maximum breaking force of up to 54 kg and a smooth, close-serration profile, these ties allow fine incremental tightening and maintain position without slippage. Their white finish makes them unobtrusive when used in visible areas and the 500 x 8.0 mm size accommodates medium to large bundles.
Pass the free end of the cable tie through the head opening, position the loop around the items to be secured and pull the free end until the desired tension is reached. The one-way locking mechanism engages with the serrations to prevent loosening. Trim any excess tail flush with the head or leave a short tail if removal may be required later; removal requires cutting the tie with scissors or a cutter.
For best results, select a tie length that provides sufficient overlap for the bundle diameter (maximum recommended bundle Ø: 130 mm). Avoid exposing the ties to continuous temperatures or chemicals beyond typical household and workshop conditions. For outdoor use in prolonged sunlight, check periodically for signs of degradation despite the improved UV resistance.
